Working at HeartShare

From our frontline workers, such as our teachers and therapists, to our evaluators, who measure our impact, the HeartShare team touches and uplifts over 34,000 children, adults and families in need at nearly 100 program sites throughout New York.

We also are invested in our employees, including our Management Training Program for employees to enhance their managerial skills, Tuition Assistance Program to help fund employees enrolled in higher education degree programs, as well as HeartShare University (HSU) that hosts workshops, taught by employees for employees, for the purpose of professional advancement and personal growth.

HeartShare also aims to recognize the professional accomplishments of its employees through awards. HeartShare’s Everyday Heroes program is a bi-annual awards ceremony and storytelling event that nominates outstanding Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) or frontline workers for their outstanding contributions to the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities.
