Paul Torre is the executive vice president of ASTOne, a division of American Stock Transfer and Trust Company (AST). ASTOne provides strategic advisory consulting and proxy solicitation services to public companies and mutual funds. Torre has 25 years’ experience in the proxy industry, including at Morrow & Co. LLC, Shareholder Communications Corporation (now known as Computershare), Mediant Communications, and ADP Investor Communication Services (now known as Broadridge Financial Solutions).Torre cofounded The Altman Group, a corporate proxy and bankruptcy firm, which AST purchased and rebranded as AST Fund Solutions. In 2013 and under Torre’s leadership, AST combined its mutual fund proxy, corporate proxy, and ownership intelligence groups to form ASTOne. In 2014, AST acquired D.F. King & Co. and folded its mutual fund and corporate proxy business into ASTOne. HeartShare’s Torre Residence for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Brooklyn is named in honor of Paul’s commitment to the organization. Torre also is involved with a number of charities, including LaGuardia Community College, Citizen Schools, and the Mark C. Healy Scholarship Fund. He speaks regularly at industry panels and conferences. Torre graduated from St. John’s University with a B.A. in finance. He is married with three daughters.
