The conference included discussion of how to design evaluations to improve programs, the use of robust quantitative and qualitative measurements to promote equity and empower communities, as well as the use of visualizations to convey clear, impactful messages.
Capela, who has conducted COA site visits and presented papers in 35 states and four countries, also is a co-chair to the AEA’s Internal Evaluation TIG, a forum for networking, community building, learning and professional development for those interested in internal evaluation across the public and private sectors.
