HeartShare has partnered with Seats of Dreams to bring opportunities in entertainment to children and adults in our programs.

Seats Of Dreams is an organization that was founded in January 2011 and was designed to give underprivileged children the chance to attend concerts, sports games, and other forms of entertainment. To date, they have provided 80,000 experiences to children and adults.

Thanks to Seats of Dreams program participants from HeartShare and HeartShare St. Vincent’s have been able to attend sports games and concerts that attendees — and our organization — ordinarily wouldn’t be able to afford.

Some of these dream tickets landed us access to: New York Yankees baseball games, a Katy Perry concert, pro boxing tournaments, bull riding events, Broadway shows (Home For The Holidays), and the New York Knicks basketball games.

After receiving tickets to see the New York Yankees, a program participant with disabilities had a joyful expression on his face and told everyone around him, “I can’t wait to go to the game!” Seats of Dreams has helped our community make lasting memories, as well as bring an element of excitement and surprise into their everyday lives.
